Line & Haiku Poems

Today in English we had to write some poems.

I'm actually pretty proud of mine this time (unlike a few days ago), so I thought I'd share them with you.

Line Poems:

You literally just have to ist a bunch of things.

How To Fly

Lead

Brush

Pick

Saddle

Bridle

Mount

And finally, ride

Fly away

If Only I Could

Sleep in on schools days,

Not have to do chores.

Live forever

And have the key to every door.

That one even rhymes!

Haikus:

The form for them is three lines going:
5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables

Snow

Snowflakes fall slowly

Silently coating the ground

In a white blanket

Rain

It begins to rain

Drops splashing on to the ground

Puddles to jump in
