My Thoughts on Eggnog

I personally don't love the stuff.  I admit, it has been a while since I've had any, since the last time I drank it, I had to fight off the urge of gagging out loud.

But it's hard to forget something like that.  I can still clearly imagine its thick, pepperminty flavor.

Nobody in my family has ever really enjoyed it either.  But every year, my father insists on bringing home a few cartons full around the holidays.  Usually he'll have a glass or two, and then it'll sit in the back of the fridge until it, well, expires.

But for some reason, this year, my little sister has really taken a liking to it.  She has somehow managed to go through two of the cartons my dad brought home just last weekend, virtually all by herself!  She chugs that stuff like it's the last time she'll ever see food again.

Honestly, I am impressed.  It's difficult enough getting her to eat vegetables, so I never expected her to even try Eggnog.

Yes, I know, there are probably some people out there who absoutely love Eggnog.  And to them I'm sorry if this upset you.

Well, after pulling up this picture, I got the sudden urge to give Eggnog a second chance (if there's any left).  I guess presentation really is everything.
